How are payments processed?

All payments are processed through "Paypal Website Payments Standard". You are not required to own a Paypal account; however, Paypal will take care of the financial transaction for the both of us. This means we do not store nor view your method of payment. This also means all major credit/debit cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

You will be temporarily redirected to Paypal to complete the payment transaction. After the transaction is complete, you will be redirected back to abigailalcocer.com. I highly recommend you create an account with our store so that you may track the progress of your order; a "Create an Account" link can be found at the top right corner of our online store.

Do I have to pay taxes on orders from this online store?

The law states that online stores must charge taxes on products and shippping in the state in which they have a physical presence. Since we are based in Texas, all customers that reside in Texas will be subject to a 8.25% tax rate on all products and shipping, orders outside of Texas will not be subject to any taxes. Whether or not you will be charged taxes will be based on your billing address, not the shipping address.
